State and federal funding opportunities are available to help you support clean energy projects including building electrification, geothermal and thermal energy networks, distributed energy resources (solar, storage), electric grid reliability, microgrids and virtual power plants, electric vehicle infrastructure, and more.

In addition to the Grant services programs, NYPA offers additional programs for specific customers:
- Municipal electric utilities, and rural electric cooperatives are eligible to participate in the Municipal Alternative Vehicle Program (MAP)
- Municipal electric utilities, and rural electric cooperatives plus governmental customers are eligible to participate in the Tree Power Program.
- NYPA supply customers or Executive Order 22 Affected Entities subject to BuildSmart 2025 requirements can learn more about the BuildSmart Program.
